WORLDWIDE SIYUM HASHAS 2012
On the evening of Tuesday, 31st July, the Sydney kehillos and learning centres came together at Central Synagogue to celebrate the 12th Siyum HaShas, an event attended by over 250 people.
The event were chaired by Rabbi Michoel Gourarie director of BINA (which arranged and hosted the siyum).
Rabbi Lewin made the siyum and the guest speaker was Rabbi Yaakov Sprung from Melbourne.
Some of the Mesaaymim for the first time spoke of the impact Daf Hayomi had on them, .
The evening was a great Kiddush Hashem amd a real display of Kovod Hatorah.
